You can purchase one of our high quality luxury designers frames online with or without prescriptions. If you would like prescription glasses you must send a copy of your prescription to us via info@chasemeadowopticians.co.uk. If required, you may then need to book in a short dispense appointment for the optometrist to take your specific measurements ensuring that your glasses are tailored for you.

Our high end choices ensure that your frames will stand out as different from run of the mill high street ranges. We welcome external prescriptions so you can benefit from dispense only if required.

 Chase Meadow Opticians have a huge array of lenses and coatings that you can select from, many of which will only be discussed after understanding your requirements in the sight test. However, the more popular ones are;

Anti-scratch resistance  this prolongs the life of the lens by reducing everyday scratches that you may normally pick up.

UV-400 protection this helps you to prevent UV light exposure which can lead to eye damage.

Sunglasses tints lenses that are permanently tinted and do not change.

Anti-glare eliminates glare and reflections.

Blue anti-glare is a blue filter which reduces the amount of blue light transmitted into the eye from digital devices such as computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Polarised lenses that eliminate all excess glare and stray light plus they are permanently tinted dark like sunglasses.

Transitions lenses that change colour with the light. Clear when indoors and turn dark in the sunlight.

We offer complimentary aftercare which includes, free frame adjustments, repairs such as screw or nose pad replacements to our frames, along with frame or lens cleaning. This is a in store service where you may be asked to sit and wait for a short period in order for us to carry out this service.
